Fallen Heros Wreath Program
This ride is entirely police escorted from start to finish for a no feet down riding experience. Clubs and participants will meet at the FOP lodge in Northeast Philadelphia to be assigned to one of a dozen zones. Each zone is greeted by members of the police force responsible for covering the area that particular zone will deliver wreaths to.
The members of each zone will travel, fully escorted, to the cemeteries of fallen police offices each of which has been killed in the line of duty to deliver their wreaths. Upon arrival at each officers grave, a member of that zone will take a turn to read off the officers name and how they made the ultimate sacrifice protecting their community, followed by a moment and silence and placing of the wreath.
